It utilizes Regency’s patented Eco-Boost technology, a hybrid system that combines traditional secondary air tubes with a catalytic combustor. This process allows the insert to burn wood gases that would otherwise escape up the chimney, resulting in an impressive 8-hour burn time and emissions as low as 1.7 g/hr. Because the catalyst stays hot, the unit can maintain a slow, steady burn while still keeping the glass clean via its integrated air-wash system.

This insert is particularly favored for its compact firebox, which fits into many small masonry fireplaces that are too shallow for standard inserts. Despite its size, it can heat up to 1,200 sq. ft. and provides a significant amount of radiant heat through its large ceramic glass window. The Ci1150 features a heavy-duty stainless steel heat shield and a cast iron door for maximum durability.
