Will the Stûv 6-in fit into my existing brick fireplace?
Yes! The Stûv 6-in was specifically designed to replace open masonry fires. Its combustion chamber narrows at the back to fit easily into traditional hearths, while expanding at the front to provide a wider view of the flames.
What are the finishing frame options?
Stûv offers multiple frames for a perfect finish: a Thin Edge Frame for a sleek look, Picture Type Frames (2", 4", 6") to mask larger openings, and even 3-Sided or 4-Sided Custom Frames.
Does it need a fan to distribute heat?
The Stûv 6 is designed to create air flow naturally (convection). The ambient air is heated as it moves along the cast iron combustion chamber and exits naturally through the upper frame.
